Our Mission - Working together to make a positive difference and improve the quality of life for all SEND children and families in West Northamptonshire
West Northants Voices in Partnership (WNVP) is a group of parents who have children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). We focus on helping families with kids aged 0-25 in the West Northamptonshire area.
Our group is run by local parents who want to hear your thoughts and represent your needs. We team up with those who plan and provide services to make life better for everyone in West Northamptonshire.
Who do we represent?
We represent families with children and young people aged 0-25 who have special educational needs and/or disabilities in West Northamptonshire.
Who do we work with?
We partner with various organisations such as Northamptonshire Children's Trust, local councils, healthcare services, and more. Together, we aim to ensure that services meet the needs of families with SEND in West Northamptonshire.
How do we do it?
- We listen: We want to hear from parent carers. We use social media and surveys to gather feedback and share it with decision-makers.
- We develop strategies: We use the information we collect to create clear plans and policies. We focus on the issues that matter most to families living with SEND in West Northamptonshire.
- We co-produce: We believe in working together. We partner with local organisations to make decisions that benefit everyone. We hold services accountable and work towards better outcomes for families through collaboration.
